The Kitchen Companions is a lunchtime meals-on-wheels service in Gloucestershire. It’s more than just a meal. It’s simple, we bring great food to you and serve it in your home. We are creating a better way of receiving a hot lunch at home, promoting a healthy diet, social connection and independent living. Our mission is to make a real difference to the lived experience of many who eat alone and create meaningful connections through food. 

Meals-on-Wheels began after World War II. It was initiated by the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) as a way to support those affected by the bombings. Much has changed since 1943, but the need to support the vulnerable is still very much there...
